Thanks to the wonderful world of digital photography, my whole outlook has changed. In my past life as a corporate executive and engineer in the energy industry, I focused on organization, people, dollars, risk-taking etc. … having very little time to "stop and smell the flowers". My life-style at that time did little to prepare me for what was to come after retirement. I now see the world around me in terms of lighting, colors, textures, composition, etc. and "blur" has become a four-letter word. I think I've become a photographer.

I now spend my life wandering the world with my best buddy (and wife), Susie, with camera in hand looking for that special moment when all the right elements come together … and when it does it's magic!
