I’m married with two children and one granddaughter.  I’ve been interested in photography for over 40 years and am still trying to keep poles from sticking out of people’s heads.  I think I’m getting better.  My first camera was, I think, a Kodak Hawkeye.  Anyone remember that?  Over the years I’ve progressed from that to what I now use, a Sony DSC F505.  I just love that little camera.

20 Years ago I took a Black & White photography class.  We went on “field trips”, learned dodging, burning and cropping, etc.  That’s when I discovered the joy of having control over ones own work.  I was made for the digital photography world.

My husband retired in January six years ago.  That was the first summer we spent working in YSNP.  We’ve been coming back ever since.  It has provided us with wonderful photo opportunities.  Unfortunately, this year it has been a bit difficult due to all the smoke from the wildfires.  We’ll be heading home to San Diego in less than two weeks.  The best of both worlds.  Thanks for looking at my pictures.
