My interest with photography started in February 2000 after I got a digital camera to photograph my son’s soccer games. Realizing that there must be more to photography than “point and shoot” I decided to use the Internet to learn photography.

Now a Photographer Artist for the Aiken Center of the Arts, my photographs are used by the State of South Carolina and the City of Aiken in addition to being published in magazines, brochures, newspapers and a school textbook. Photography interest remains with Internet photography contests as they afford the most active means of feedback in the learning process and are a lot of fun. Recently retired from Du Pont and Westinghouse combined 24 years and a 7 years military tour, more time is now available to explore the world of photography. I really look forward to that!
