Entries must be submitted online as JPEG files ONLY!
Minor digital adjustments (cropping, brightness, contrast, color saturation,
noise reduction, sharpening, burning, dodging, etc) to entries in the
Animal, Black & White, Macro, People and Scenic categories are acceptable.

However, entries that are digitally manipulated
(composites of multiple images, heavy airbrushing, frames, vignettes, solarized, brush stroking, etc.) must be submitted to the Open category. In
either case, all entries must be based on and composed exclusively of the
entrant's original photo(s) or other works for which the entrant is the
copyright holder.

Therefore, a good rule of thumb is; if you think
the judge cannot discern that your image is made up of an original photo
that you took, you probably went to far in your enhancements and that photo
should be submitted to the Open category. We hope this helps.

Please send
only photos taken with a digital camera, and in JPEG
format only. You may want to resize your image to 640x480, or 480 on the
vertical side, to speed uploading.
